You are about to hear the story of literally the luckiest person in 2021. On 24th December, a 10 year old from Virginia made a website to raise money to buy soda for his friends on Christmas. Different people shared it on social media and the post got a lot of attention and several people donated. It was just a joke, he did not intend to make a fortune from the site.

He didn’t check his results till two days later. When he woke up on the morning of 27th,he had raised over half a million dollars for what was supposed to be a $10 dollar campaign. He couldn’t believe it.

Note that he used his father’s Paypal account as he is too young to have one himself.

His parents agreed to donate all the money raised to charity if it exceeds a million dollars by 10th January 2022. People are actually still donating money to this site (especially now that it is likely to go to a good cause) and it will definitely exceed a million by 2nd January.
